Jamaican Mango Crisp Recipe |

INGREDIENTS |
|
5 cups ripe Jamaican mangoes, peeled and thinly
sliced |
|
1½ teaspoons Jamaican cinnamon |
|
¼ teaspoon Jamaican nutmeg |
|
1 tbsp. Jamaican lemon juice |
|
¼ cup softened butter |
|
½ cup brown sugar, packed |
|
½ cup flour |

PREPARATION |
|
1. Mix sliced Jamaican mangoes with 1 teaspoon of
the Jamaican cinnamon, the Jamaican |
|
nutmeg and Jamaican lemon juice. Place in
a buttered glass baking dish and set aside. |
|
2. Combine butter and brown sugar until well
blended. Cut in flour and the remaining ½ |
|
teaspoon of Jamaican cinnamon. Mix until
crumbly. Sprinkle the topping evenly over Jamaican |
|
mango slices. |
|
3. Bake in a oven for 15 – 20 minutes at 350
degrees then serve warm or cold, with whipped |
|
topping or ice cream. |
