tasting Jamaican custard recipe with baked mangoes

INGREDIENTS |
|
1 cup sliced Jamaican mango |
|
1 tsp. vanilla |
|
¼ cup sugar |
|
¼ tsp. salt |
|
2 beaten eggs |
|
2 cups milk |

|
PREPARATION |
|
1. Heat milk to simmering and add sugar and salt. Add eggs to milk slowly
and add vanilla. |
|
2. Put Jamaican mango in bottom of baking dish and pour milk mixture over
them. |
|
3. Set dish in pan of water and bake at 300' for approximately 1 hour or
until a knife comes |
|
out clean. |
