Jamaican Beef Patties Recipe |

A special beef patty recipe that is almost
synonymous with the Jamaican recipe. |

Ingredients |
|
6 Jamaican patty crusts |
|
1½ cups ground beef |
|
1 tsp salt |
|
¼ tsp dried thyme leaves |
|
1 lg tomato chopped |
|
½ tbsp scotch bonnet pepper diced |
|
2 stalk escallion chopped |
|
1 lg onion finely chopped |
|
2 tbsp soy sauce |
|
¼ tsp sugar |
|
½ tsp allspice |
|
|
|
Preparation |

1.
Saute
escallion, onions, thyme, pepper and chopped tomato in a frying pan. |

2.
Add
beef mince in frying pan and fry until minced is cooked. |
|
3.
Add soysauce, sugar, salt and allspice. |
|
4.
Ensure that the beef is wet when placing it on the
patty crust. |
|
5.
Place at least 3 tablespoons of filling on each circle
then fold and crimp |
|
with a fork the corners. |
|
6.
Brush a small amount of oil on each patty. |
|
7.
Place in the oven then bake for approximately 45
minutes at 375 Degrees. |
