Jamaican Mango Chutney Recipe II |

A popular traditional Jamaican mango chutney recipe. |

INGREDIENTS |
|
6 firm Jamaican mangoes peeled and thinly sliced |
|
1 cup Jamaican cider vinegar |
|
1 cup brown sugar |
|
2 tablespoons minced Jamaican garlic |
|
1 Jamaican ginger peeled and thinly sliced |
|
1 tablespoon Jamaica black pepper |

PREPARATION |
|
1. In a large skillet bring all the ingredients to boil, over medium heat. |
|
2. Reduce the heat to low, simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring constantly
from sticking to the bottom of the skillet. |
|
3. Remove from heat and let the Jamaican mango chutney cool before serving. |
