Jamaican Oven Dried Mango Recipe |

INGREDIENTS |

1 cup sugar |
|
2 lbs. Jamaican mangos, sliced |
|
2 tbsp. Jamaican lime juice |
|
3 cups Jamaican spring water |

PREPARATION |
|
1. Mix water, Jamaican lime juice and sugar. Heat
to boiling. Add Jamaican mango slices to syrup and let stand for 20 minutes. |

2. Drain fruit and spread in single layer on a
rack in the oven at 130' for 8 hours or until Jamaican mangos are leathery,
but pliable. |
|
3. Pack in air tight containers. Refrigerate or
freeze for longer storage. |
