INGREDIENTS |

3 medium ripe Jamaican mangos |
|
1 cup brown sugar |
|
1 cup water |
|
½ tsp. Jamaican cinnamon |
|
1 tsp. vanilla extract |
| |
|
PREPARATION |
|
1. Bring water, sugar and flavorings to a boil and
simmer for 5 minutes. |
|
2. Add peeled and sliced Jamaican mangos. Simmer
for 10-15 minutes or until tender. |
|
3. Serve plain, with vanilla ice cream or whipped
cream. |
