Jamaican Recipe Oxtails |

A breaded version of the Jamaican oxtail recipe. |

Ingredients |
|
2 cups oxtail chopped |
|
½ tbsp tbsp onion powder |
|
½ tbsp escallion chopped |
|
¼ tbsp garlic powder |
|
1 tbsp soy sauce |
|
¼ tsp salt |
|
¼ tsp black pepper |
|
¼ tsp allspice |
|
½ tbsp thyme leaves |
|
¼ cup vegetable oil |
|
1 egg beaten |
|
1 cup bread crumbs |

Preparation |
|
1.
Cook
the oxtail in a pressure cooker or in boiling water until soft. |
|
2.
Remove
and season oxtail with seasoning and allow to marinate for at least ½ hour. |
|
3.
Dip in
egg and then in bread crumbs. |
|
4.
In a
large frying pan sauté escallions and add breaded oxtails. |
|
5.
Fry
until brown. |
|
6.
Serve
hot. |
